Delhi/NCR: Gurgaon’s biggest and most popular Food Awards – “The Big F Awards” are now back
in its sixth season. Paying tribute to the Millennium city’s vibrant hospitality industry, from fine dining to home chefs as well as exciting nightlife, the awards are an eagerly awaited part of the cityscape. The Big F Awards has one of the most transparent voting systems allows public voting by diners to choose their favourites across 28 categories. The coveted jury of some of the most weighted names in the industry lends it credibility. The jury consists of acclaimed chefs, including Chef Sabyasachi Gorai, Chef Rakesh Sethi, Chef Nita Mehta, while the critics include food historian, Osama Jalali, Food Historian & Critic Prof. Pushpesh Pant, well-known food critic Rinku Madan and the founder of The Big F Awards, Indian Food Freak and Gurgaon Food Freak, Pawan Soni.
This year 1.15 lacs people have already voted for The Big F Awards. The voting will close on 20th July 2019.
Popular Choice: – The nominated contenders are up on the website, Indian Food Freak, as well as the FB. group, Gurgaon Food Freak. – The final winners will be vetted by the jury for the final selection
Jury’s Choice:
– The jury will select their own winners in each category, with each jury member having one vote
– Any ties will be decided after debate and discussions. There may be a joint award in case of no-decisions.
Awards will be given out at a gala award ceremony at The Westin Gurgaon on 28th August 2019.
