TRAVEL TRADE REPRESENTATIVES FROM ACROSS THE COUNTRY INVITED TO PARTICIPATE: POSTERS OF RDTM AND MTM UNVEILED
A delegation of the Federation of Hospitality and Tourism of Rajasthan (FHTR) participated in the 41st Annual Convention of the Indian Association of Tour Operators (IATO), held in Visakhapatnam. On the occasion, the posters of the upcoming Rajasthan Domestic Travel Mart (RDTM) and Marwar Travel Mart (MTM) were unveiled by FHTR. The delegation also invited travel trade representatives from across the country to participate in both events.
The FHTR delegation shared information about the various opportunities available in Rajasthan’s tourism sector as well as the upcoming travel marts. FHTR was represented at the convention by FHTR Vice President and IATO Co-Chairman, Mahendra Singh Rathore. Also present on the occasion was Senior Additional Director, Department of Tourism, Government of Rajasthan, Anand Tripathi.
On the occasion, Mahendra Singh Rathore said that the objective of RDTM and MTM is to take Rajasthan’s tourism products to markets across the country. It is also to strengthen business linkages among hoteliers, travel agents, tour operators and other tourism stakeholders in the state.
Also present were: President, IATO, Ravi Gosain; CEO, IATO, Rahul Chakravarti; Past President, IATO, Rajiv Mehra; Senior Vice President, IATO, Rajnish Kaishta; Vice President, IATO, Sanjay Razdan; Treasurer, IATO, Deepak Bhatnagar; Treasurer, FHTR, Rajendra Singh Jodha; Secretary, IATO, Sunil Mishra and President, TAAJ-Jodhpur, Gajraj Singh.
It is to be noted that RDTM and MTM are being organised by the Federation of Hospitality and Tourism of Rajasthan (FHTR) in collaboration with the Department of Tourism, Government of Rajasthan. The sixth edition of RDTM will be held in Jaipur from 17 to 19 September 2026, while the first Marwar Travel Mart (MTM) will be organised in Jodhpur from 20 to 22 September.
