AIR FRANCE STRENGTHENS CONNECTIVITY BETWEEN INDIA, FRANCE AND THE WORLD

Reinforcing its long-standing commitment to the Indian market, Air France continues to strengthen connectivity between India, France, and destinations worldwide through its extensive global network via Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport.

With daily direct summer operations from Bengaluru, Delhi and Mumbai, Air France connects Indian travellers to Paris and beyond, offering access to over 190 destinations worldwide through its hub at Paris-Charles de Gaulle.

India remains a key market for Air France, with growing demand for both business and leisure travel. Through its modern fleet, signature French hospitality, and extensive global network. Air France continues to offer Indian customers seamless connectivity alongside a premium travel experience.

To simplify transit for Indian nationals, the French authorities have recently removed the Airport Transit Visa (ATV) requirement for Indian nationals transiting through French airports between India and non-Schengen destinations. Eligible passengers can now benefit from smoother, more streamlined transit procedures at Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport, subject to valid travel documents and destination entry requirements.

Commenting on the recent developments, Laure Daynie, Country Manager Air France-KLM India, said: “India is a key strategic market for Air France and continues to demonstrate resilience and strong growth potential in the current environment. We operate daily flights from three gateways, offering customers greater choice and flexibility in their travel options. The recent removal of the Airport Transit Visa (ATV) requirement for Indian nationals by the French authorities is a very welcome development, making transit through Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport simpler and more seamless. Along with Air France’s signature services and refined French hospitality, these developments further strengthen our commitment to elevating the customer journey and delivering smoother, more consistent, and a premium travel experience for our customers from India at every step.”
