Leadership Change at TAAI: Sunil Kumar Takes Charge as TAAI President for 2024-2026 Term

In a closely watched election following TAAI’s 73rd Annual General Meeting at ITC Grand Maratha in Mumbai, Sunil Kumar has been re-elected as the President of the Travel Agents Association of India (TAAI) for the 2024-26 term. Securing 304 of the 766 votes cast, Kumar emerged victorious over contenders Jyoti Mayal, who garnered 177 votes, and Harmandeep Singh Anand, who received 286 votes.

Joining Kumar in the leadership team, Lokesh Bettaiah has been appointed as Vice President after receiving a resounding 417 votes. Shreeram Patel secured the role of Honorary Secretary General with 344 votes, while Paras Lakhia has taken up the position of Honorary Treasurer.

The Managing Committee for the new term is composed of industry leaders Gopal Unadkt, Manav Soni, Amish Desai, Lalit Kumar, Hema Chander, Sameer Karnani, and Rajan Sehgal. With this dynamic team in place, the association is set to pursue a fresh direction, with a renewed focus on addressing the evolving needs of the travel industry.
