Thailand has recently unveiled a series of new visa measures aimed at boosting its economy through travel and tourism. Thailand will now grant visa exemption for nationals of 93 countries and territories, up from the previous 57. This move allows visitors under this scheme to stay for tourism purposes and short-term business engagements for a period not exceeding 60 days, which can be further extended at the Immigration Office for another period not exceeding 30 days. Notably, the visa exemption for Indian nationals has been extended beyond November 2024 until further notice, enabling them to continue enjoying visa-free travel to Thailand.

DTV holders, along with their spouses and dependent children, are entitled to a five-year stay with multiple entries, allowing for cumulative stays not exceeding 180 days, which can be extended for another 180 days.
